Religion Kills, Yes Even Yours.

This is a blog that will help you to understand where religion comes from, and how it does not make sense to believe in GOD.

Oh, an i will add in some of my random thoughts and ideals.
I knew it was out there somewhere!

I knew it was out there somewhere!

The night sky was filled with the light from his home. Joseph Vincent Paterno, Rest in Peace. You will be missed by all whom knew you, and knew about you. Your overwhelming presence at Penn State will never be forgotten. Thank You for the 60 years you dedicated to the student and the student athletes that called Penn State home.

R.I.P Joseph Vincent Paterno

I go to school that is more than a university. We are family. We are supportive. We are humble. We are overcoming. We are my dream. We are stronger than the media, hatred, and hypocrites. We are JOE PATERNO. But most of all WE ARE AND ALWAYS BE PENN STATE. Please fight hard, strong, and persevere Joe Paterno. You’ve done so much for so many people and deserve the same respect and honor you’ve provided to millions. Thank you for the great school and life you have provided me. For the Glory. We Are PENN STATE.

Future

The future is an evolving figure, it is not guaranteed for people on earth; we are born, we live, we die. So why is it that many of us are born into a religion that makes us live in fear. When a entity can read our simplistic thoughts, where is the free will. To live in fear, and constant turmoil trying not to sin, that is not living. Living is doing what you want. We are all born to be moral individuals, but somehow we have all this crime and true physco-paths. When we look to someone for guidance, it is usually a mother, father, sister, brother or even an elder. I looked up to the priest of my church, my parents and my sister. I was taught that god is the reason that we are here, and the reason people are moral. In school we were never taught philosophy due to the complexities it entails. So college came along, and being a Petroleum and Natural Gas engineering major, I has a philosophy course requirement. This is where I was finally exposed to people like Kant, Smith, Mills, and many others. It was to teach us how to make ethical decisions that was not based on religion. This is where I discovered that people can and should be ethically moral, even without a god.

Life without religion has taught me a lot over the past year and a half. It has taught me that happiness is looking towards the sky, wondering what are the possibilities that are out there. It also taught me that there is only one life to live, stop wasting time with the things that would look good and do what you are passionate about; no matter what it is. I went from engineering to the polar opposite, journalism. People like christopher Hitchens, Nick Bilton, Anderson Cooper, Blair Morgan, and many others has inspired me to look at everything, not just the story, and create an entire catalog of possible ideas pertaining to a story; meaning, tell every aspect of the story, even if it takes several tries. But the overall idea, is be who you want to be. Believe in what you want to believe. I will believe in the good of humanity, and try to shed light on new ideas, pictures, points of views and overall a different look at life.
